By Air:

The nearest airport is Limoges, linked to the UK via Ryanair. Here, you can hire a car from all the major companies. I would advise to pre-book as Limoges airport is a very popular pick-up point. Piegut Bed and Breakfast is 45 mins away by car. 

On leaving the airport turn join the D20. After 3 miles turn right onto D79. After a further 3 miles join the N21 and cross the river at Aixe-sur-vienne. Follow for 7 miles then turn right onto D699. Stay on this road until you reach St. Mathieu. Turn left onto D675. Follow for 7 miles until you reach Piegut-Pluviers. See map  for details. 

If you don't fancy hiring a car we can collect you from the airport for 30 euros (subject to availability)
There are other local airports at Bergerac (1hr 40mins), Poitiers (2hrs) and Bordeaux (2hrs)

By Train:

The TGV to Paris or the South stops at near-by Angouleme (Angouleme-Paris 2hrs 30mins). Car hire can be obtained from just outside the station. Piegut Bed and Breakfast is approx 45mins by car.

By Car: 

The French autoroute system is very good (much better than the UK motorway system) making travelling longer distances much easier. From Calais and the channel ports Piegut Bed and Breakfast is approx 6-7hrs drive making it a useful stopping point for onward journeys into Spain or as a base to explore the south and south-west France.
